Job Description
Role Description
As an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist – Level 1, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is FT remote.
- Ensure total understanding of supplier performance, including metrics, areas for improvement, and delivery requirements
- Act as supplier lead, ensuring full knowledge of all open orders, issues, and areas for improvement
- Track all open purchase orders and upcoming deliveries and update ERP system accordingly with accurate information
- Take the lead in root causing any issues that may delay supplier delivery timing
- Interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
- Plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
- Ability to travel 5-10% annually
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
- Experience in MS Office suite
Requirements
- Experience with SAP ERP system
- Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
- Experience with FAR/DFAR
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
- Written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized, as well as being an Excel power user
