Role Description

In this role, you’ll play a key role in helping teams grow by finding and hiring great talent. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs, guide them through the hiring process, and ensure a smooth experience for candidates.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and interviewing to offer and onboarding.
• Guide managers through the interview process and help them identify the best talent.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
• Other duties and projects as requested.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or transferable experience from a related field.
• Ability to understand client needs and apply strategic, tailored recommendations that drive results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain structure in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, leverage networks, and source top talent or resources effectively.
• Openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
• High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, ensuring quality and consistency.
• High School Diploma required.

Requirements

• Due to the nature of the work being done, Human Resources employees may not have a family relationship either immediate or otherwise with any current Symetra employee.
• Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, in alignment with the FCC's definition of "broadband."
• Internet Type: Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL.
• Not Permissible: Satellite (e.g., Starlink), cellular broadband (hotspot or otherwise), any other wireless technology, or wired dial-up.
